Responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of the human resources function and duties. Responsibilities include but not limited to: maintaining HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, and recruitment.
  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in reviewing, interpreting and recommending policies and procedures
  • Ensure and provides guidance on compliance of policy, procedures and employee and labor laws (FLSA, EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.) as well as maintaining up to date knowledge of best practices and laws.
  • Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records, process payroll, and compile reports
  • Maintains and ensures integrity and accuracy of Human Resources data (I-9’s, Personnel files, organization charts, employment verification, etc.) by performing regular audits and/or developing audit reports.
  • Assist with facilitation of the company’s recruitment effort
  • Focal point for all Human Resources services contractually provided company by third party
  • Prepares and maintains all Human Resources related files
  • Coordinate employee training for professional development
  • Train employees on various topics such as timesheets, Human Resource Information System ( HRIS), new hire orientation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork, etc.
  • Prepares Human Resources company- wide announcements
  • Provide support for projects that are business driven projects and initiatives

POSITION PROFILE

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 2 years of working experience
 
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be able to speak, read & write English/Spanish fluently
  • Working knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Excellent Conflict Resolutions Skills
  • Able to work in fast paced environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

  • This position requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting, repetitive motions (i.e. hands/fingers), hearing, talking. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality of detailed work

Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work extended hours as needed
